The 2009 edition of the Miss Historic Jonesborough Pageant is dedicated to Jack Leonard (Father of Former Miss Tennessee Sarah Ann Leonard and former First Runner Up to Miss Tennessee Susan Leonard). Both will be attending.  The Civitan President will be presenting the award from the Civitans. Jack was a long time Miss Historic Jonesborough Committee Member (Judges Chairman). When the Jonesborough Pageant was restarted in 1985 Jack was one of the original committee members who actually mortgaged his home to get it started back, he was such a believer in the Miss America Program.

There have been many Miss Historic Jonesborough winners to compete for the title of Miss Tennessee. 
The first winner was in 1976.

The Miss Historic Jonesborough Pageant has produced two Miss Tennessee winners.
