The Mission: Is to encourage, challenge and caringly support the young women who choose to be a part of the Miss Tennessee Family through training, mentoring, preparing and performing while competing to become Miss Tennessee, all in an environment that builds life competencies, and prepares women for their rightful role in their chosen endeavors and vocation.

The VISION: This organization is the support and platform to allow young women to discover and develop their gifts and talents, and through the encouraging exercise if those gifts and talents to realize their full potential as the future leaders of this State and our Nation.

Dream It, Believe It, Be It!

The Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition is staffed completely by volunteers and depends solely on donations for the scholarships we award and funds to cover operating expenses and the state level competition.  Annually, Miss Tennessee awards over $100,000 in scholarships to help these women realize their education dreams. This year, based on our award categories, we anticipate awarding over $160,000 in scholarships.  We anticipate this year's competition and operating expenses to require $70,000. These funds include the state level competition production as well as funding travel for Miss Tennessee's travel and expenses for competing at the Miss America Competition as well as her appearances in support of the Outstanding Teen Competition and other Miss America events.

The Miss Tennessee Organization, a 501(c)4 non-profit, is one of the most recognizable brands in America, working to empower young women through education and service. Miss Tennessee / Miss America candidates contribute tens of thousands of community service hours annually and have raised over $18 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Miss America scholarships since 2007.
