Belinda Arender
Treasurer, Interim Chair
A native of South Mississippi, Belinda is a graduate of Belhaven University and the Ole Miss School of Banking. For nearly a decade, she served as a local executive director for a Miss Mississippi triple crown preliminary. Married to her husband, Joey for over 27 years, she is the proud Mom to two sons, Blake and Brock. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son play baseball, traveling and being entertained by her fur babies, Rusty, an energetic GoldenDoodle and Buster, a grumpy Chihuahua.

Joe Albright
Vice Chair
Joe Albright is honored to serve as the CEO and Board Chair of the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition, Inc. Joe comes to the position while concurrently serving as the Chair of the Milan Tennessee Regional Planning Commission, Election Commissioner for Gibson County, and Member of the Board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for West Tennessee. Joe is Vice President for Facilities Technical Services for Universities and Schools Segments for Sodexo North America. He retired from the Army as a Colonel and then served as a Senior Army Civilian in the Office of the Secretary of the Army, before founding a leadership and management consulting firm; all prior to his current position with Sodexo. Joe has significant experience mentoring young leaders in both the government and corporate sectors, including several individuals who have attained General Officer or Civilian Equivalent rank as well as senior partners in Fortune 100 companies. He earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, Masters of Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, Masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and has completed 38 post graduate hours in Organizational Management and Leadership. Joe has been involved with the Miss America and Miss Tennessee organizations for over 20 years. In addition to numerous military awards earned during his distinguished career, Joe was named an Outstanding Intellectual for the 21st Century by Cambridge International, a Who’s Who Distinguished Humanitarian in 2018 and is a recipient of the Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award. He and his wife, Janie, reside in Milan, Tennessee and have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

Hollie Alexander
Foundation Board Member
Hollie Alexander was born & raised in Gallatin, Tennessee. She was a competitive dancer & cheerleader for 24 years, winning several state, national and world titles. Hollie graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's degree in History & Political Science. During college she was the captain of the MTSU Dance Team, intern with the house agriculture committee with the Tennessee House of Representatives, and represented MTSU at the 2010 Miss Tennessee Competition (Miss America Organization) as Miss Middle Tennessee Blue Raider. After graduating from MTSU she worked doing marketing for companies and politicians. She was the campaign director for former State Representative Mike Mcdonald. For the last 8 years Hollie has been an educator. She is a level 5 highly qualified teacher for the State of Tennessee. Hollie is the state director for Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen which is the state competition to Miss America's Outstanding Teen. The Tennessee Outstanding Teen program awards over $10,000 in college scholarships annually. In her down time Hollie enjoys running, working out, watching movies & spending time with her husband Chris.
