Lauren Blodgett is a 24-year-old graduate of Union University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in December 2020, and will graduate with her Master of Business Administration degree in December 2022. Following her time as a Character Performer at Walt Disney World, she now spends her days as the Social Media Coordinator at Kappa Delta Sorority. Lauren hails from Cary, Illinois, but has been thrilled to call Memphis, Tennessee her new home, embracing country music and saying “y’all”! Her Social Impact Initiative is Let’s Get Real, an initiative in collaboration with Stand Beside Her (Girl Scouts Heart of the South). As she continues to overcome her struggles with low self-esteem and depression, she aims to bring awareness to the anxiety, depression, comparison, and diminishing self-esteem that are increased by social media. Her participation in the Miss America Organization has been the perfect opportunity to showcase and enhance her experience with leadership, academic excellence, and empowering others.
