Lauren Adell Ross is an 18-year-old from Mount Carmel, Tennessee. She is currently studying psychology at East Tennessee State University with hopes to pursue a career in psychiatry or child psychology. She is an advocate for Special Olympics Unified Sports, a program that joins individuals with special needs and peer tutors, like Lauren, to compete on the same sports team. She has worked with Special Olympics for five years and counting, supporting the team through playing as a unified partner, holding fundraisers, and promoting inclusion throughout her region.
