
Samantha Hennings is a 19-year-old from Springville, Alabama. She is a Sophomore at Middle Tennessee State University with a major in International Relations, and minors in Spanish and Political Science. She will graduate in May 2025 with a career ambition of becoming a United States Ambassador. She is also a full-time singer on Broadway in Nashville with her own band- The Sami Lavette Band. Her Social Impact Initiative is a personal initiative called “F-O-S-T-E-R Spells Family” where she advocates for the foster children in the state of Tennessee. Through this initiative, she created the “F-O-S-T-E-R Spells Family Senior Scholar Award” chosen through an essay contest for high school seniors to help ease their transition into the real world. This year, she raised over $2,300. Samantha began competing in the Miss America Organization at fourteen in Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen where she obtained three titles before moving to Tennessee. She is so excited to continue her journey in the Miss America Organization and she will take the stage this year as Miss Music Row.
