Donations to our organization are used in two important ways:

 

Miss Tennessee proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as additional scholarships for performance and community service efforts. Our goal is to offer $70,000 in scholarships this year. Scholarships are not just awarded to the winner or the top few candidates. Scholarships are paid directly to the candidate’s college of their choice and enhance the educational opportunities for the young women of Tennessee.​ Additionally, Miss Tennessee travels the state and represents Tennessee at the Miss America Competition.

 

Each year funds are raised to help offset costs for:  

• Miss Tennessee's travel and expenses for completing her

   year of service to our state.

• Miss Tennessee's travel and expenses for competing at

   Miss America and attending related events

• Housing and providing meals for our candidates during

   competition week

• Funding the production of our competition and renting the

    competition venue
