Request a Scholarship

To request scholarships received at the local level, contact your local director. 

Local scholarships must be disbursed prior to requesting your state scholarship.

To request a scholarship awarded at the STATE level please follow the rules outlined in the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Policies document on the contestant portal. Miss Tennessee is licensed under the Miss America Opportunity and follows IRS rules as well as Miss America best practices regarding the disbursement of scholarships and related activities.

 

Local scholarships must be disbursed prior to requesting your state scholarship.

"Requesting" a scholarship can only happen once you have a valid bill from an educational institution such as a college or university, complete the form linked below, and contact Colene Trent to accept your scholarship.

To request your state scholarship:

1) Complete the form at the following link: https://forms.gle/zcPrEs6NcRDzm8Vg6      

Ensure that you upload the necessary documents (transcript and current invoice with a date that must reflect 30 days from date of this application.)

2) Contact Colene Trent (colene.misstn@gmail.com) to accept your scholarship. Your request will be processed over the course of the next few weeks. Requests cannot be processed immediately or on extremely quick timetables.

Note: You MUST have proof of university or college needs for a scholarship to be disbursed. Checks will ONLY be made payable to an educational institution. Scholarships are never paid directly to the titleholder.
